I’m surprised none of you have a Monommy Machine. I thought you needed one to be a monomaster

The app works just as well. Before then I just looked up stats online lol

And it’s not required in the real world apparently

Yeah I’ve just always used the app. I had an MM toy when I was younger but the app is more convenient and I don’t look like a grown woman playing pretend that way lol

It’s a bit weird you still have that toy how old are you again

It’s not a toy anymore. It changed around the same time as when Monommy became real

Monommy (a combination of the words Monster and Mommy) is a Canadian media franchise distributed internationally through the video game and toy manufacturing company Clear Seed. The franchise was created by Alexandra Stella in 20██, and is centered around the fictional world of Frewosz, where humans live alongside a magical race of humanoid monsters called “Monommy”. The series focuses on humans in Frewosz who bond with Monommy to enhance their innate magical abilities. There is also the process of ‘pacting’, which can only be done once in a lifetime, where a human and Monommy ‘synchronize their souls’ to link their ‘lifeforce’, which allows the human to use the same magical abilities as the Monommy they formed a pact with. Humans who work closely with Monommy are thus dubbed ‘monomasters’. Monomasters collect ‘drops’ from Monommy they befriend to summon them from anywhere in the world to assist them in their journeys, usually to ‘battle’ other Monomasters and Monommy, or to ‘fight’ those who threaten others. In the Monommy franchise, the difference between a ‘fight’ and a ‘battle’ is akin to the difference between a fight to the death and a competitive sport, respectively.

Origin

The franchise originated as a pair of video games for the Clear Seed Volt Berry known as Monommy Uprising and Monommy Downfall, featuring slight differences between the two versions and requiring connectivity between both games to be able to play as all 80 available Monommy. Since then it has become a worldwide phenomenon, spawning card games, toys, merchandise of all kinds, and the popular cartoon series simply known as Monommy: The Animated Series. The Monommy franchise sells tens of millions of games, toys, and other merchandise worldwide.

Notable Controversies

There have been many controversies surrounding the Monommy franchise, but the most commonly discussed usually involve several of the Monommy themselves having clear cleavage, as well as a number of accusations that the franchise is somehow Satanic in nature. When asked to clarify on these topics, Clear Seed’s official response has been as follows:

“All Monommy are girls. That’s the way it is. The franchise is appropriate for all ages.” – Alexandra Stella

“The Monommy franchise has no connections with the Satanic church. We feature original designs that are inspired from the world around us, and as such anyone is bound to find connections if they go looking. Monommy are good creatures, for the most part!” – Alexandra Stella

INDEXfal Glitch

There was also a controversy surrounding a glitch that can be encountered in early copies of Monommy Uprising and Monommy Downfall, in which a software error resulted in an 81st Monommy appearing and starting battle with the player. The glitch is the result of an index error reporting false when the program expects an entry in the ingame ‘Monommy Guide’ to report as true. This results in a pixelated, distorted figure composed of a mixture of player character sprites and other unused assets attacking the player from all directions.

The Monommy fan community has affectionately nicknamed this glitch ‘INDEXfal’, after the glitched display name of the error Monommy. This glitch was widely reported to have the ability to cause headaches for those who encountered it due to the high pitched screeching that reportedly played during the fight with ‘INDEXfal’. These reports however were untrue as the glitched encounter plays no sound at all.

Monommy are living beings with human or higher level intelligence who were suddenly discovered in 20██ and are thought to be connected to the Sky Wound Incidents and other anomalies that have come to light recently. They perfectly resemble the creatures and characters of the same name from the video games Monommy Uprising and Monommy Downfall, although some Anomalous Organisms calling themselves Monommy do not resemble any Monommy found in either version of the video game. Very little is known about Monomy in the real world. Research is still ongoing.

They seem to possess the ability to warp reality to perform what they themselves describe to be ‘magic’. Very little is known about them, but they seem to possess the same abilities and act in a similar manner to the characters portrayed in the Monommy media franchise.

Although statistically they are the lowest threat to human life among all currently known anomalies, it is still very much recommended to avoid Monommy entirely. They may not be actively hostile but they are still very dangerous.

If you know anything about the whereabouts of the developers of Monommy Uprising and Monommy Downfall, report everything you know to a Twin Star administrator immediately, and above all else, FIND THE WISHMAKER AND REND YOUR FLESH FROM THE SHACKLES OF WHAT YOU KNEW AS LIFE.
