#083 – Atherismy
Atherismy, a mom class nature-type Monommy. With her slender body she climbs through the forest canopy, slithering about with much grace. Atherismy’s body produces a natural venom she uses to defend herself and hunt prey, but she’s also incredibly knowledgeable about poisons of all kinds, and even brews her own potent concoctions. One of her favourites is a specialized flask she can manifest that, once thrown, explodes into an acidic cloud, searing through anything it touches. Using her magic, she’s also capable of altering the properties of her leaves and scales, solidifying them to increase her defense or sharpening them to slice through opponents. The tip of her skewering blade tail is laced with a powerful neurotoxin capable of paralyzing her target for hours at a time. She takes care of venomous animals, wanting them to know theyre just as deserving of love as anyone else. Although she’d never admit it, she’s a real softy.
They’re really different from other Monommy though.. Bones and blood and eyes and teeth.. It makes me sick looking at them :c
They do seem to have more in common with anomalies.
The fact they’re showing up as if theyre real Monommy is the only thing making me think they’re Monommy at all.
The fact they’re using a Monommy term like type doesn’t mean they actually are Monommy. They seem to have human body parts too but I wouldn’t say they’re human.
Warpmy is telling me that the nine types represent a sacred balance and that there shouldn’t ever be a tenth type.
Do your guys’ Monommy have any input?
I tried asking Bunpopmy about chaos-type and got quite the earful of how the grands would never allow such a thing to exist.
She also said she has no memory of them existing in Frewosz, and only ever heard of anomalies once she was on Earth.
Virusmy says maybe the chaos-type Monommy were made like she was, not from the game. She was made on earth, not frewosz.
I always forget that she isn’t a standard Monommy. She fits right in!

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure this is what we know:
There’s the original 80 Monommy that became real, and new ones. Some of those new ones were going to be in Monommy 2, like Carchamy and Ribbitmy.
At least one was made after Monommy became real, and that’s Virusmy.
And some are chaos-types, who… Might have been in Monommy 2, or might have been made on earth like Virusmy, or maybe they’re something else entirely.

I really don’t think chaos-types are Monommy at all. Virusmy was made differently but even she looks like other Monommy. These things look… wrong.
I don’t think they’re Monommy either. Something happened to the world when the sky tore open, and I think Monommy becoming real was only a part of it.
The sky didn’t rain blood in Uprising that’s for sure. Maybe it was different in Downfall :p

I didn’t know the mommies were from a game until now! Toastmy didn’t know either, and she was very surprised when I asked her about it.
Sorry I have been so busy… I’ve recently been taking care of my daughter’s best friend since her parents disappeared… It’s been hard since the sky wound incident, as you know… At least the kids get along great as always…
I’ll try to keep in touch as best I can! Those chaos fellas sound spooky, please be safe. I know, I’m being protective… Can’t help being a dad…
