Be careful, though: the worst anomalies are the ones you can’t see. Vacuum pockets and inside out disease are horrible ways to go.
Remember to always look with slight glances before going anywhere, there’s research that suggests you stand a better chance against unseeable shapes if you don’t look at them for extended periods.

Yeah, she’s definitely the omnimaster! It started to glow as soon as I got close to Maia, and they combined. I’m using it now, Glenn didn’t want her near it anymore.

BREAKING NEWS
A Sky Wound has opened up over central North America. Its true size is currently unknown but it is confirmed to be the largest to date. Emergency evacuation orders have been in effect since the wound first started to tear open. If you live in the following regions of Canada or the United States, get to high ground and take shelter immediately. Pay attention to the radio for announcements in case of internet outages and allow Twin Star and local rescue teams to assist you.

If you can see red rain drops, you are not in a safe location.
Parameteorologists have managed to test some of the early bloodfall and have determined that it is a newly discovered human blood type. A transfusion of this new C Zero blood type converts all the blood of an organism into C Zero blood, regardless of the organism’s species or blood type. If you have open wounds, avoid contact with Sky Blood at all costs.
The transition of non-anomalous blood into C Zero blood is instantaneous for the following blood types: O+, O-, A+, B-, and AB-. It is a much slower and more painful, but perhaps curable, process for all other blood types. Nonhuman organisms seem to be converted at random rates.
Once any organism, human or otherwise, has had their blood converted to C Zero, they show signs of Inside Out Disease before metamorphosing into abomination class anomalies, better known as Chaos-types.

I know the storm shelter is sturdy and we have supplies for months here but with the blood storm should we move closer to the coast?

I’d agree with you normally but right now, keeping ourselves alive is the number 1 priority. The Grand Drops are our only hope and without Maia we can’t pact with them all to summon the Grand Mother.
